REGULATIONS AND TERMS

1. Definition of Virtual Event: I acknowledge that a virtual event is an event that can be completed from any location utilizing a running app. I recognize the importance of physical activities for overall health, both physically and mentally. Participating in these virtual events may offer various benefits, including improved fitness and well-being. I understand that all virtual events are organized and operated in full compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
2. Safe Pedestrian Practices: I agree to follow safe pedestrian practices when traversing streets, roadways, or any other public areas. This includes exercising caution, being mindful of traffic, and remaining aware of my surroundings and other individuals to ensure my safety during the event.
3. Personal Responsibility and Health Monitoring: I agree to participate in the event based on my personal preferences and physical capabilities. I acknowledge that I am responsible for monitoring my health and well-being during the event. Additionally, I understand that there will be no medical or aid stations (including fluid and food) provided by the event organizer. I also confirm that I am in good health, sufficiently trained, and capable of safely completing the virtual event. I agree to seek the advice of a medical professional if necessary.
4. Waiver of Responsibility: I acknowledge that the event organizer will not be held responsible for illness (including communicable diseases), accidents, or any incidents that may occur during my participation in the event, except where attributable to the organizer’s actions. I also understand that should the event be canceled for reasons beyond the organizer’s control, entry deferrals to another event will not be permitted.
5. GPS Tracking and Data Collection Guidelines: I understand that the virtual event relies on GPS tracking and geofencing for accurate data collection. I agree to adhere to the following guidelines:
o The device used in the event must be connected to the event app, and it is my responsibility to ensure that the device is properly synced. Any technical difficulties should be directed to the app’s help desk, not the event organizer.
o I acknowledge that data collected by unauthorized apps or devices will not be accepted, and that my device should be compatible with the event’s designated app to ensure accurate data capture.
o All data collected, including personal information, will be handled in accordance with the event organizer’s Privacy Policy.
o The organizer will not be liable for any inaccurate data caused by device malfunctions or failure to follow the event’s technical requirements.
o While using GPS-enabled devices, I agree to exercise caution and be aware of my surroundings for my own safety.
6. Cheating and Disqualification: If cheating (such as proxy running, use of exercise equipment, automobiles, or other unfair methods) is detected, the participant will be immediately disqualified. Any records, awards, or achievements associated with the cheating participant will be voided, and the participant may be banned from future events.
7. Medical Attention Acknowledgment: I acknowledge that medical attention will not be provided by the event organizer during the virtual event. I agree to participate in the event only if I am physically fit, healthy, and sufficiently trained. I will monitor my health during the event and consult a medical professional if necessary.
8. Award Transfer Policy: I agree that the award(s) I receive for completing the virtual event are non-transferable and cannot be assigned or transferred to a third party under any circumstances.
9. Copyright and Usage Rights: I agree that the copyright of all images, videos, photographs, articles, and any other media related to the event, as well as the usage rights for TV broadcasting, newspapers, magazines, and the internet, belong solely to the event organizer. This includes all promotional materials, including those for future events.
10. Terms and Conditions Modification: I agree that the event organizer reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice. Any revisions will become effective immediately upon being posted on the event website. Registered participants will be notified of any changes via email and/or SMS, as applicable.
11. Courier Service Disclaimer: I understand that the event organizer will not be held responsible for delays or issues with courier services caused by incomplete, inaccurate, or missing address details or incorrect phone numbers provided during registration. It is my responsibility to ensure that all personal details are entered correctly.
12. Entry Regulations:
o Accurate Registration Information: I acknowledge that providing false information regarding my name, date of birth, gender, nationality, or address is strictly prohibited. Once registration has been submitted, the details cannot be changed or canceled.
o Prohibited Practices: Proxy registration, or registration on behalf of another participant, is not allowed.
o Waiver Requirement for Minors: Entrants under the age of 18 must obtain a waiver from a parent or legal guardian before participating in the event.
o Technical Issues Disclaimer: The event organizer is not liable for any disruptions caused by poor internet connectivity, device malfunctions, browser issues, or operating system errors. It is the participant’s responsibility to ensure that their equipment is functioning properly.
o Email Delivery Disclaimer: The event organizer is not responsible for any inconveniences or losses that result from technical issues, such as undelivered emails due to system settings, device malfunctions, or changes in email addresses.
o Non-Response Policy: The Help Desk or event organizer will not respond to inquiries regarding the number of entries received.
o Unauthorized Promotions: Any promotional campaigns or advertisements associated with the event that have not been approved by the organizer are strictly prohibited. Any entry connected to unauthorized promotions will be voided without refund.
o Entry Fee Policy: Entry fees are non-refundable, regardless of personal withdrawals or inability to participate due to weather conditions, personal reasons, or natural disasters. Entries cannot be transferred or deferred to other events.
o Personal Data Protection: The event organizer adheres to all relevant personal data protection laws and regulations and ensures that all personal information is handled in accordance with the organizer’s privacy policy.
