Virtual Event Regulations

1. Definition of Virtual Event: I acknowledge that a virtual event is an event that can be completed from any location utilizing a running app. I understand the significance of physical activities for overall health, both physically and mentally. By participating in virtual events, I acknowledge their potential benefits. I understand that all virtual events are organized and operated in compliance with relevant laws, and I agree to participate while adhering to all necessary infection prevention measures.
2. Safe Pedestrian Practices: I agree to use safe pedestrian practices when traversing streets and roadways, exercising caution, and being aware of my surroundings and other individuals.
3. Personal Responsibility and Health Monitoring: I agree to participate in the event based on my personal preference and capability. I understand that I am responsible for monitoring my health and acknowledge that no medical or aid stations (including fluid and food) are arranged or provided by the event organizer.
4. Waiver of Responsibility: I acknowledge that the event organizer will not be held responsible for illness (including communicable diseases), accidents, or incidents that are not attributable to the organizer.
5. Entry Deferral Policy: I understand that in the event of cancellation for reasons beyond the control of the organizer, entry deferral to a different event will not be permitted.
6. Guidelines for GPS Tracking: To ensure accurate data collection, I agree to adhere to the following guidelines:
   6.1. Use the designated app specified in the Event Regulations.
   6.2. Understand that data collected by unauthorized apps will not be accepted.
   6.3. Ensure that my personal device is properly connected to the app, seeking assistance from the app’s help desk if needed.
   6.4. Understand that all collected data and personal information will be handled according to the event organizer’s Privacy Policy.
   6.5. Acknowledge that the event organizer is not liable for inaccurate data due to device malfunction.
   6.6. If cheating (proxy runner, use of exercise equipment, automobile, etc.) is discovered, the runner will be disqualified and hence with, the record, award and such will be eliminated.
   6.7. Please be cautious of your surroundings while using GPS equipped devices or phone.
7. Medical Attention Acknowledgment: I acknowledge that medical attention will not be provided by the event organizer for the virtual event. I agree that I will participate in the event only if I am physically fit, healthy, and sufficiently trained, and monitor my health while taking in advice from health professional.
8. Award Transfer Policy: I agree that I cannot transfer the Award I received in the virtual event to a third party.
9. Copyright and Usage Rights: I agree that copyright of images, films, photographs, articles, coverage of the event, and the usage right for TV broadcasting, newspapers, magazines, and the Internet, belongs to the event organizer.
10. Terms and Conditions Modification: I acknowledge that the event organizer reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions without prior notice. Revised terms and conditions will be effective upon posting on the website, with email notifications sent to registered participants.
11. Dispute Resolution: Any disputes regarding participation in the virtual event shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Tokyo District Court initially.

Entry Regulations

1. Accurate Registration Information: False information regarding name, date of birth, sex, nationality, or address is strictly prohibited. Registered information cannot be changed or canceled after submission.
2. Prohibited Practices: Proxy registration is not allowed.
3. Waiver Requirement for Minors: Entrants under the age of 18 must obtain a waiver from a parent or legal guardian, if needed.
4. Disclaimer for Technical Issues: The event organizer is not liable for events affected by poor internet connectivity, personal device malfunction, browser settings, or operating system issues.
5. Email Delivery Disclaimer: The organizer is not responsible for inconveniences or losses due to device malfunction, system/email settings, failure to receive emails, or changes in email addresses.
6. Non-Response Policy: The Help Desk or event organizer will not respond to inquiries regarding the number of entries received.
7. Unauthorized Promotions: Promotional campaign or advertisement through the event not approved by the organizer is not allowed. Any entry associated with unauthorized promotions will be voided without refund.
8. Entry Fee Policy: Entry fees are non-refundable, regardless of personal withdrawals, or inability to participate due to weather or natural disasters. Entries cannot be transferred or deferred to other events.
9. Personal Data Protection: The event organizer adheres to all laws and ordinances regarding personal data protection and follows its privacy policy when handling personal information.
10. Usage of Personal Information: Personal information may be used to deliver event-related communications and for promotional/marketing purposes to enhance future events.
